About Megan Omlor

Hi!
I'm Megan Omlor and this is my website. I'm a Realtor helping home buyers and sellers in the Tampa Bay area. I enjoy the excitement and variety of the Real Estate profession and thrive in its fast paced environment. I'm totally driven by the challenge of helping people find their new dream home. I also thrive on helping buyers and sellers find win-win solutions while negotiating a sale. Working with friendly people, having fun, and getting the job done are the things that make being a Realtor rewarding for me.

Originally from Ohio, my husband and I moved to Florida because we were tired of the cold dreary Ohio winters. As we looked for a new place to call home, we researched several areas and selected Tampa because of its central location, great employment opportunities, and exceptional quality of life. We also loved the fact that Sarasota, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Siesta Key and the tranquility of the Gulf are just a short drive away.

I enjoy participating in many different sports. I like playing volleyball, both beach and indoor. I love doing outdoor activities, and just being outdoors. I'm a member of "Tampa Bay Club Sport", a great club that conducts a number of activities, sports leagues, and competitive tournaments. My husband and I stay active with this club. I love to spend time in the water and at the beach, and I'm scuba certified through NAUI.

Living in Tampa is great; there is so much to do here. We like to fish. Our favorite spots are at the pier by Sunshine Skyway, Lido Beach in Sarasota, and we also enjoy chartering deep sea fishing boats for an afternoon at sea. We bike and roller blade on Pinellas Trail and through Fishhawk Ranch's trails and also on Bayshore Drive.

I'm an animal lover, and have three dogs; sometimes we forget that they're dogs and they just end up being our kids.

I participate in various charities. I have fostered kittens for CatCall. CatCall is rescue program for kittens or cats that have been abused or abandoned. When people find kittens or cats that have been abused or abandoned they bring them to us and we make sure they receive any necessary medical attention and find them a foster home untill they can be adopted. None of our rescued animals are killed. There are currently over 200 cats that need good homes. If you are looking for a new friend, please consider contacting CatCall.

Also, I've been "locked up" for MDA kids where I was taken to "jail" and had to raise my own bail. I raised $850 for this great charity.

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Tampa area, please contact me.
